The Iowa Great Lakes Association (IGLA) is a leader in the protection of our natural resources and personal property from devastating flood waters, as we experienced in the Spring of 2018 culminating in the July 4th, 2018 “No Wake Zone”.

Meteorologists are predicting more intense weather in the near future. IGLA has engaged the University of Iowa’s Institute of Hydroscience Research (IIHR) for an Iowa Great Lakes Watershed Flood Study at a cost of $125,000.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  Your generosity will contribute to the cost of the flood study, whose recommendation will provide lake level management, help prevent flooding, protect high water damage to shorelines, docks, lifts and hoists.

The U of I’s IIHR will present their Iowa Great Lakes Watershed Study on Wednesday, March 27th.
