Despite a cold and wet Memorial Day Weekend, there was lots of activities for the visitors and residents of the Iowa Great Lakes Region. A crowd came to the opening Iowa Rock n Roll concert at the Roof Garden by the Rockin’ Hollywoods out of Minneapolis. The flea markets were visited around the area, and while the Memorial Day service was moved from the Spirit Lake courthouse to the Sami Center, it was well attended. A great opening weekend to the Iowa Great Lakes!
