(Spirit Lake)– Representatives from both the Hawkeye Care Center of Spirit Lake and the Iowa Great Lakes Association delivered breakfast, goodie bags and t-shirts as small tokens of appreciation to the men and women in uniform serving our community.
Hawkeye Care Center representatives Sheila Weier (Administrator), April Howe (Activities Director) and Jonna Garrett (Community Relations Represenative) invited the Iowa Great Lakes Association’s Jen Johnson-Ross (Community Development Manager) to celebrate our local law enforcement.
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) is a national movement to to show law enforcement officers that our citizens recognize the difficult and sometimes impossible career they have chosen, in public service to us all.
