Blink Marketing started as in a home office, with an idea and an identified opportunity.  Currently located in the Iowa Great Lakes area, Jill Harms identified that there was a need for a full service-marketing agency in Northwest Iowa.  So, after spending 10 years working for global giant, Pure Fishing, in 2009 she left to pursue her dream of starting up a marketing agency.  Working in marketing, for Sathers Candy Company, Schwan’s Food Service and lastly Pure Fishing, she gained a unique perspective on the marketing agency world.  “I’d worked with some of the best agencies and some of the worst.” said Harms.  “So, it gave me the opportunity to understand what it was really going to take, to become a top notch agency.  And, because we live in an area where there were lots of aspiring artists and graphic designers, it gave me opportunity to pick good talent.”  In addition, Harms has traveled abroad to 11 countries during her corporate marketing career, giving her a unique global perspective to marketing, that most other small marketing firms don’t have.  Harms has worked on some well-known brands such as Red Baron Pizza, Tony’s Pizza, Schwan’s Foods, Sathers Candy, Berkley, Abu Garcia, Fenwick, Coleman, Shakespeare, Penn, and others.  Since then, Blink Marketing has blossomed into an “edgy and downtown boutique looking”, lower level office of East Oaks Mall in Lake Okoboji, Iowa. A casual and fun environment is a big part of fostering those creative ideas.

Blink has expanded to Four employees:  Harms:  President & Chief Strategist, Brock Bringle:  Creative Director and Mad Scientist, Carmen Leng:  Marketing Solutions Manager & Social Stalker and Jordan Sundblad: Creative Services Manager.  We are a full service out-sourced marketing team. Let our team become your “internal” marketing team.
