The Pearson Lakes Art Center is sad to announce the cancellation of Art in the Park scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2020. This was a very difficult decision for the staff and Board of Directors who organize this very special lakes area event.
Art in the Park has historically, to our joy, drawn large numbers to the grounds of Preservation Plaza. Because of this, the PLAC has taken into consideration the health and safety of our community, our visitors to the area, and the artists and volunteers that help make the event possible.
The artists who participate in Art in the Park rely on this income for their livelihood. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for features on the 2020 artists. We encourage you to visit them online to view – and purchase – their work, and we are looking forward to planning Art in the Park next year, to be held August 7, 2021.
